Our Services
We aim to maintain the care and compassion of a small family practice. Our services, on the other hand, are more identical to those provided by a large, specialized practice, covering nearly all of your pet's medical, surgical and emergency/urgent needs—expected or not. We offer personalized preventative health care, in-office/bedside diagnostics, spay/neuter/elective surgery, specialized surgeries, ultrasonography, dental, and end-of-life care -- all to help your pet live the best life possible!
Wellness Care
Proactively maintaining your pet's health and reducing their risk of illness can be accomplished with wellness care. Wellness checkups for dogs and cats should be done annually because, at Poynette Veterinary Care, we think that prevention is the best medicine.
Meet Dr. Jayne Yelk
Dr. Yelk grew up in DeForest WI, went to UW Madison, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She spent time at Lodi Veterinary Care in general practice and then progressed to providing full time emergency care services in Madison. She joined Dr. Fabrizius in the spring of 2017 - getting back to her roots of practicing preventative medicine and enhancing the human-animal bond. Her special interests include ultrasound and surgery. She spends her free time with her husband and 3 children as well as their array of pets including horses, dogs, and cats.
