Laser Therapy
We utilize our in-house laser therapy whenever possible! Laser Therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light to create therapeutic effects. These effects include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling. This therapy provides our patients a non-invasive, pain-free way to treat a variety of conditions and is used in conjunction with existing treatment protocols. Our laser therapy patients exhibit increased energy and freedom of movement, decreased inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain. Numerous studies show that Laser Therapy can help with arthritis, joint pain, wound healing, post-surgical recovery and chronic pain.
X-RAY Imaging
We offer state-of-the-art Digital Radiography which provides x-ray images without the use of conventional film. This allows for the highest-quality images, while providing the lowest possible exposure of radiation to your pet. In addition, these digital images can be computer enhanced, allowing our veterinarians to see fine detail and subtle changes. Digital images can also be easily emailed–allowing seamless consultations with specialists as needed.
Ultrasound Imaging and Echocardiograms
We are so proud to be one of the only hospitals in the area to offer complete IN HOUSE ultrasound exams and echocardiograms – rather than referral elsewhere. Ultrasound is a very important diagnostic tool that allows us to get an extremely detailed view of your pet’s internal organs without surgery or other invasive procedures. We can quickly and efficiently evaluate the significance of any abnormal bloodwork, screen for underlying diseases or problems, preform ultrasound-guided needle aspirates of organs and/or masses, and evaluate heart function and heart murmur significance.
